1) Peanut Butter Hot Chocolate... Mmmmmmm
This drink seriously will cure any bad day. it is the perfect amount of sweetness and who doesn't love a cup of peanut butter to sip on when it's -40!?
(p.s. i used vanilla soy milk instead of regular milk, which i think made it that much better ;) )
2) Meditation
okay so let's be honest, i'm am not a meditation expert whatsoever but it's fun to try something new! I bought this book awhile ago (i took a small break) but now i have decided to give it another go.
Basically what i have learned from meditation is:
a) choose a place that is bright and very quiet
b) get in a comfy sitting position
c) and just let your mind go, do not think of anything in the past or future, just what you are doing right then and there
this sounds and looks a lot easier than it actually is. i have a really hard time staying in the moment, and i'm always cold when i do this. but the book does say that meditation will never always be a good experience. and as everyone always says, practice will make perfect..
3) Donate Rice!
a teacher at my school showed me this awesome website! basically what this is, is a chance for you to learn and to donate rice to people around the world!
the site gives you subjects to choose from (english, math, french, etc.) and questions to answer. every question that you get right the website will donate 10 grains of rice to someone in need on YOUR BEHALF. isn't that awesome!? visit this website and have fun helping others!
